The Impact of Noise Pollution on Wildlife

This video explores the various natural and man-made sounds in and around Bellingham wildlife corridors situated along I-5 and how the increasing amount of man-made sounds pollute the wildlife soundscape. This pollution has immediate effects addressed in this video, and long-term effects yet to be discovered. This mini-documentary addresses the role noise pollution plays in harming habitat connectivity and wildlife behavior through the perspective of Western Washington University environmental science instructor and wildlife ecologist Greg Green.
