Playing Apart Together: Gaming During COVID-19

How COVID-19 has affected gamers and their social scene

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced millions of people across the globe to limit their social interactions to a bare minimum.  No more parties, weddings, kickbacks or cookouts. Many turned to gaming to fill the void created by the pandemic lockdown orders. Three students from Western Washington University share their involvement in the gaming community and how video games have provided them a way to cope with the social interaction drought brought on by the virus.
